Weber’s baseball nine started their schedule by losing their first contest to Box Elder 9 to 8. It was a well played game with equal performance. Then they started a series of victories over South Cache, Bear River, Logan, North Cache and Ogden. to land Weber in a tie for Region leadership with Ogden and Box Elder. The tied teams then drew straws to decide the play-offs. Ogden met Box Elder in the first play-off game and came out on top.
