These students wrote scripts, collected news items, and actually directed and produced two radio programs each week. “Warrior Way the Better Way” over KLO each Tuesday, and “Under the W” over KVOG were special functions of this unit. Besides the programs, methods of making up and using sound effects were studied. The radio production department was represented at the regional journalism convention at the USAC by Colleen Haney and Nolan Jones. Each department at Weber was invited to present a program and the students of this class were always on hand for advice and helpful direction.
