Janice Beth Activities Mr. Ward looks on after Sweetheart Mary Beth Neilsen and her attendants Patsy Smith and Janice Taylor receive their gifts. The F.F.A. held their annual Harvest Ball and Flower show on Sept. 25, 1953. The gym was decorated in their club colors blue and gold, highlighted by the contributed flowers for the flower show held during the day. An array of beauty—Candidates for Sweetheart Judy Taylor, Shirley Chugg, Caroline Hogan, Janice Taylor, Mary Beth Nielsen, Patsy Smith, Marilyn Evans, and Cheryl Jones. The Sweetheart candidates were nominated by the members of the F.F.A., then the student body voted on them by paying a penny for each vote. Our Homecoming was celebrated on Oct. 23. The alumni filled the halls during the day. The assembly was presented by former students who danced, sang and talked. After school South Cache. there was a football game with Climaxing the day a dance was held starting at 9 p.m. with Mood Masters Orchestra playing. Performing on the Homecoming and the Belnap sisters.
