Such courses as Biology 1, and additional social sciences, literature, speech, etc., are recommended as substitutes for foreign languages. ♦♦If a student desires Organic Chemistry he may substitute Chemistry 31, 32 and Social Sciences for Chemistry 10. ■ Leading To The Study Of Optometry, Pharmacy, Chiropody, And Specialized Fields A student majoring in Optometry, Pharmacy, Chiropody and other specialized fields may take his general education courses at Weber College as a background for courses in his field. It is advisiable for a student to consult the catalogue of the particular school where he intends to complete his special work. COURSES OF INSTRUCTION Physiology 1. Human Physiology and Anatomy. It is recommended that the student have as background for this course a high school course in chemistry or biology or the equivalent. Four lectures and one laboratory period a week.
