Show 28 WEBER COLLEGE man, English', Public Speaking; Biological Group: Zoology, Botany, Physiology, Hygiene, Bacteriology; Social Science Group: History, Sociology, Economics, Psychology. Before a student can become a candidate for graduation, his record in the College must show: First, that he has satisfied the entrance requirements; secondly, that the collegiate work for which he has credit and pending credits, the completion of which is reasonably assured, together satisfy the requirements for graduation; thirdly, four-fifths of the grades earned by the student must be C or better. Students who graduate with an average grade of 90% will be designated as honor students. College credit will not be given for any course completed in high school. All candidates for graduation are required to be present at commencement exercises unless excused by the President. No student will be allowed to register for more than eighteen hours of credit per quarter without special permission. Every student must take two hours in Sacred Literature per quarter unless excused by the President. RULES OF DISCIPLINE The students are given the fullest freedom compatible with high ideals. Students who fail to conform to standards of honor and integrity are subject to discipline. Improper associations or habitual visits to nouses or resorts of questionable repute will not be permitted. WEBER COLLEGE 20 The rights of persons and the rights of property, public and private, must be respected. Persistence in non-attendance by a student may result in the student being dropped from a course. A student who fails in two-thirds of his work may be restricted in his work, or eliminated at the end of the quarter. The President shall have authority to supervise the living arrangements of students not residents of the city, and to order the immediate withdrawal of any student from an undesirable boarding or lodging house. All social functions given by any organization of the school are under direction of the standing committee of the organization. All disciplinary announcements made by the President of the school become a part of these regulations. L |
