We hope that you can join the community to celebrate one or more of the variety of activities that the Community Services Department has planned this month. There is a broad range of activities that covering many interests from song to sport. Anyone interested in participating in the parade is welcome. Participants should gather on 700 South at about 10:30 a.m. the morning of July 4. No advanced entry form is required. JULY ACTIVITIES July 2nd - Get Teed-off: The Fifth Annual Golf Tournament Time: 4:30 p.m. Place: Mulligans Golf Course. Cost: $10 (includes green fees). July 3rd - Dutch Oven Dinner and Karaoke Time: Dinner at 6:30 p.m., Karaoke after. Cost: $3 per person, $ 15 per family (no pot luck this year, city will provide entire meal). Place: Slaterville Park July 4th - Celebrate America 8:00 a.m. Breakfast: Marriott and Slaterville Parks. 11:00 a.m. PARADE! From 700 South on 1200 West to Marriott Park. 12:00 noon: Lunch, contests, and games. July 7th - An Evening of Music at the Park. Bring your family to the Marriott Park and enjoy beautiful music, local talent, and socialize with friends and family. No charge. Featuring: Michelle Woolf, Celtic Harp. Date: July 7 Time: 7:00 p.m. Place: Marriott Park Bring: lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks. AUGUST ACTIVITIES August 4th Am Evening of Music at the park Bring your family to the Marriott Park and enjoy beautiful music, local talent, and socialize with friends and family. No charge. Featuring: The No Name Band, Shaun Holley, and the McConkie Family. Time: 7:00 p.m. Place: Marriott Park Bring: lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks. August - Senior Citizen Night. More information coming next month. Planning Commission Agenda Wednesday, July 9, 2003, at 7:00 p.m. 1. Call to Order. 2. Approve minutes. 3. No business at this time. 4. Adjourn until next meeting on August 13, 2003. Note: if there is no business by July 3, 2003, this meeting will be canceled. Discussion/Action on new business license. 4. Resolution exempting vacant houses from EPA fee. 5. Resolution amending interlocal agreement for animal services relating to new 2003-2004 fees and costs. 6. Executive Session. 7. Officers reports and legislative oversight. 8.
