McCune, '12 Position of the Staff It gives us great pleasure to express, in this our opening number of Vol. 8, our appreciation for the confidence and trust placed in us by the Student Body of the Weber Academy. Freshmen, we bid you welcome. Green as you are, the future hope of the school rests upon you. Start today on that Christmas story for the Acorn. It will make you feel better to read some of your work in print. If you cannot write a Christmas story, write a first-class one for the Souvenir edition. WHERE YOU STAND. "Are you a booster?" Do you wish well to the Purple and White? If you can anwser, sincerely, these questions by the little word "Yes," then you are indeed worthy to be called a "Student" of the Weber Academy.
