Show WEBER COLLEGE M DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY AND POLITICAL SCIENCE Professor John Q. Blaylock, A.B., A.M. Professor of History and Political Science Work given in this department is to satisfy the requirements in History and Political Science for the degree of Associate of Arts, or the requirements for the degrees of Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Laws. The degree of Associate of Arts will be conferred upon the matriculated students upon completion of ninety quarter hours which must include the following: English 1 and 2, Mathematics and Physical Science, ten hours; Biological Science, ten hours; Language: English, French, German, Spanish or Latin, ten hours; History and Social Science, ten hours. For those working for a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Laws, one hundred eighty-three hours are required. This must include English 1 and 2, Hygiene, Physical Education 1, 2 and 3; and in addition thirteen hours of the following groups: Mathematics and Physical Science; Language and Social Science. The above group requirements should be met by the end of the Sophomore year. For a major in History or Political Science candidates for the degree of Associates of Arts must have a minimum of eighteen quarter hours in the subjects given in this department. For a major in History or Political Science candidates for Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degrees must complete at least thirty- six hours in these subjects. |
