318 College of Social & Behavioral Sciences Social Science Composite Teaching (BA) Program Prerequisite: Must satisfy Teacher Education admission and licensure requirements (see Teacher Education Department). Minor: Not required. Grade Requirements: A grade of "C" or better in courses applied toward this major (a grade of "C-" is not acceptable). Also refer to the requirements of the Teacher Education Program. Credit Hour Requirements: A total of 120 credit hours is required for graduation—a minimum of 66 of these is required within the Social Science Composite Teaching Major. A total of 40 upper-division credit hours is required (courses numbered 3000 and above). Advisement After declaring the Composite major, a student should meet with the Composite Coordinator to establish the track to be taken as part of the program.
