Show LIBRARIANS and OFFICE GIRLS The office girls under the direction of Miss Storey and Mrs. Malan were very busy with their roume olfice jobs. This staff, consisting of nine girls, was kept busy with tasks of typing, filing, answering the phone, deliv- ering messages, and gathering absentee slips. You would find at least one of these girls during each period of the day cheerfully carrying out her work, OFFICE Nola WORKERS—Left Kay Edson, Rosemary to right: Miss Storey, Kathryn Holmes, Barbara Wangsgard, Marilyn Rhees. Absent was Mary Lou Garner. Simpson, Joyce Renee Heiner, Creamer, Miss Mrs, Bernards, Faye Hadley, Malan, and assisted by the librarians, helped students to find material for research themes, book reports, or just a book for pleasure reading. Miss Bernards also taught the student librarians how to run a library. She gave them experience in finding books, selecting” new books and checking books out to students.
