Show GIRLS’ GLEE CLUB Second period, in which they gained an appreciation of good music and had an enjoyable hour was considered a period well ‘spent by the members of the girls’ glee class. Once a week these girls could be seen in white blouses and black skirts which symbolized their class. Directed by Mr. Reed they participated in various activities such as the Messiah and the Spring Festival. Burgener, Harris, Clark, Ellsworth, Alberts, Simpson. Third row: Wagstaff, Bitton, Hamblem, Simpson, Rodgers, Portor, Morris, Peterson, Oliver, Mathew, Daily, Hammond, Child. At the piano is Barbara Wangsgard, companist for the girls’ glee club.
