Her years of work as a youth corrections officer allowed her to counsel many youths and helped direct them to a better path in life. Patricia enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her family and friends. She was known for the “open door’ policy at her home and created a safe space where she acted as mom to anyone that walked through her door. We can honestly say she was a friend to everyone whether it be her role as a mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, co-worker or people she met for a season. Everyone who knew her always felt better knowing she would step in as a support system. She always made sacrifices, more then anyone would know but would always take the time to listen. | The warmth and happiness she brought to us can not be overstated. We love her more then words could possibly say, she will forever live on in our hearts. |
