Show moved on, to Marris University, where he worked as security. He worked for Marris University for 20 years before he entered his second retirement. Later on in life Fred gave his life over to the lord and joined Beulah Baptist Church of Poughkipsie, New York. On Aug 16, 2000, he was ordained as a Deacon in the ministry, where he began to serve for Pastor Bottoms and First lady Bottoms. Fred was a faithful member of the church and loved to participate in all church events and activities. In the year of 2017, Fred decided to take a leap of faith and relocate to Layton, Utah, where he was reunited with his eldest son Gregory Suitt and his wife Lisa and their family. Amongst his time here in Utah, Fred joined True Vine Baptist church under Past Lamar T Jackson and First lady Sheila Jackson. He also served as a deacon at true vine Baptist church and became more than just a deacon but more like family. Fred had a strong relationship with the lord and loved to educate and encourage others to begin their own relationship with the lord. His greatest joy was music, he had a love for jazz and gospel. In his spare time Fred enjoyed reading and collecting books as well as traveling. Fred had a collection of cookbooks because he truly enjoyed a good southern home cooked meal. He always said a home cooked southern meal is good for the soul. Fred loved his children, Grandchildren and great Grandchildren, each and every one held a special place in his heart. He touched many hearts along the way of his journey of life. He is survived by his 3 children, Gregory (Lisa) Suitt, Shekinah Suitt, Rahsann Suitt, 9 grandchildren, Latasha Suitt, Chante’ Suitt, Keyerra Suitt, Shyhiem James, Destiny James, Abdurrahim Reese, Sekinah Reese, Yusuf Reese and Emannuel Johnson and 3 great grandchildren, Jonathan Jackson, Javi’on Suitt Fox and Ty’mera Dorsett. The Family would like to give a special thanks to true Vine Baptist church and their members who assisted with helping Fred and extended their hearts and hands when he needed it most. Funeral services will be held Friday June 9, 2023, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at True Vine Baptist Church, 197 W 100 S, Kaysville, Utah 84037. Friends may visit with family from 11:00 to 12:15 p.m. at the church. Fred will then be transported to Halloway Mortuary in Durham North Carolina, where he then will be laid to rest at Glen View Cemetery in Durham, North Carolina.
