Show Three-Color Scheme to Be Employed Members of Sharmea social club of Weber college are making final arrangements for their last rush Party, a slumber party, to be held Friday, Oct. 22. Members, alumnae and rushees will meet in front of the college gym at six-thirty p.m. They will then travel to a secluded spot in Ogden canyon. Theme of the party will be “Air Mail Fantasy.” It will be carried out by decorations and favors in pink, black and silver, the club colors. Rushees are asked to bring warm bedding and dress warmly. General chairman in charge of arrangements is Delsa Davis, club president. Girls in charge of the favors are Marion Power, Gerrie Reese, Addi Lou Henrie, Lorene Lowe, Joyce Barns and Christine Letchenberg. Invitations were designed by Louise Smith, Jean Wilson and JoAnne Cliften. Decorating everything in “Pink for Sharmea” are Helen Messerly, Patsy Pollard, Aleen Johnson, and Patsy Gourley. Connie Hokanson is in charge of transportation. Shriley Corkey, Margaret Brown, LuNeva Allen and Dena Morrelli are in charge of the food. Delsa Davis is in charge of costumes. Miss Helen Mally is sponsored of Sharmea for the year 1949-50 and will be there to welcome the rushees. |
