THE FUNCTIONS OF THE SOCIAL CLUBS There are quite a number of activities that the social clubs participate in during the year. After the excitement of the rush parties are over and now pledges are taken into each club, things settle down for a year full of fun. Intramurals are started right away. Everyone can participate in those games and the clubs play against each other for the championship. The gameserate a lot of interest and are a lot of fun. Also during this year each club puts on an assembly, and either alone or with one of the men’s clubs, putson a dance. These are a lot of work but they are so much fun that nobody minds. There are other activities that the social clubs participate in such as the talen show, bananzas, and many different kinds of parties. Two other functions of the Social Clubs are to create friendliness among the students in the school, and to create school spirit. Each club member gains much social development within the club and many wonderful friendships are made that will never be forgotten.
