Cheryl Lorenc, Scribulus editor, is also sophomore Senator. Scribulus Magazine Re-named Assistant Editor Carol Drinkwater is a senior majoring in art. Lynda Bullock types and proofreads all copy. John Wood serves as Art and Layout Editor. Freshman Joe Bryner assists the editors. The Scribulus staff changed the format and impact of literary magazine tradition at WSC. In fall just prior to Christmas vacation, the 1967 issue was sold to the student body in a splash of club enthusiasm as Beta Phi Beta grabbed the $25 award for selling the most magazines in the shortest time. This was followed by a staff campaign to create a "new magazine." In spite of the lack of funds, the new feature magazine, "Kaleidoscope," was published in the spring as a supple-ment to Signpost. The role of supplement was to be replaced as the staff's excellence of art work, writing and reporting was expanded and polished. Gordon Allred, Advisor, is a noted author. Ken Nichols assists the editor with copy and editing assignments. The Scribulus staff reveals one of its typical social activities.
