Since 1953, students at Ben Lomond High School have been creating scrapbooks. These books document the memories of the students each year. The scrapbooks hold a snapshot and time capsule of each student body. Each one contains photographs, newspaper articles and a written yearly history. |

Ogden’ High School entrants, coached by Mrs. Portia Douglas, placed first in the B debate division, had two teams share first. place with four other teams in the women’s debate division, and claimed first temporaneous and second speaking. in ex- Due to the enormous size of the field in debating events, six teams were named co-winners in the wom- n’s division, and five teams were co-winners in the men’s division. Several more hours would have been required if debate divisions continued eliminations down to single teams. BEN LOMOND Ben Lomond High had one of the six co-winning teams in the women’s. division, composed of Margaret Black and Ruth Austad. They were coached by James Jacobsen| and Mary Woolley. at |
