Show ELECTION RULES 1980 TF, Declaration of Candidacy and Elections Petitions will be available Tuesday, March 4, at 8:30 A.M. from the studentbody secretary and must be turned in to the studentbody secretary or Elections Chairman by 5:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 11, 1980. | Campaigning will begin Tuesday, March 25, 1980 after the Orientation which will be held at 7:00 A.M. that morning. Primary elections will be held April 8 and 9, 1980; and Final elections will be held April 15 and 16, 1980. The order of names to appear on the ballots for the primary elections will be determined by a public drawing conducted by the Elections Committee Chairman on Friday, March 28, at 1:30 P.M. The order of the names to appear on the ballots for final elections will be determined in the same manner on Thursday, April 10, at 1:00 P.M. Polling booths will be located in the lobby of the Union Building, the Natural Science Center, the Social Science Building, and the Library. 9 7 For ASWSC Elections, each student must be properly identified by presenting an ASWSC Activity card with a valid Spring Quarter (1980) sticker on the back, in order to receive a ballot and vote. Campaigning may take place anywhere that does not create a hazard, nuisance, or cause damage to any persons, buildings, or facilities.
