Show Administration Table of Contents Dear Students: Welcome to the wonderful world of Weber State!! | am especially pleased that you have decided to begin, continue, or resume your college education here at Weber State College; one of the truly outstanding undergraduate colleges in America. Often, as | visit with students individually or address them in larger groups | share with them one or more basic principles which, if applied by a college student, can substantially expand the effectiveness of his or her education and multiply his or her opportunities for success, happiness, and service in life. One of these basic principles reads as follows: PUPPIES oi baie ele Wawiaic ule ey ee obs Cds he 6 Wu dk eee ae CE Te ee ee iG us eas wae swe ite bea Student Government............... However, | believe that if the student’s college education is limited to classroom studies, he or she will receive only a small portion of the educational and developmental experience available at the college. | believe that involvement in extracurricular activities and supplemental programs such as forensics, debate, publications, music, drama, art, student government, athletics, and service, social and religious groups, fraternities and sororities will contribute substantially to one’s shortrange and long-range success. It is my hope that while you are at Weber State College you will give principal emphasis to your academic program, for that should be your first priority. However, | also hope that you will become extensively involved in ASWSC activities as well, for through such activities you will obtain very valuable leadership and social experiences and will provide a service to your fellow students and to the college that can come only from you. Sincerely, bs a Rodnéy H. President Brady As President, it is Rodney H. Brady’s duty to assure effective and efficient administration and operation of Weber State College.
