Also refer to the general grade requirements for graduation on page 36. » Credit Hour Requirements: A total of 120 credit hours is required for graduation - a minimum of 72 of these are required within the major. A total of 40 upper division credit hours is required (courses numbered 300 and above). Advisement All Art majors and minors must interview with the department chair/advisor early on in their course of study. Once the Foundation has been completed, students can apply for the B.F.A. portfolio review. This is held twice a year and is performed by the visual arts faculty. Information regarding the review is available in the visual arts office (KVAC, Rm. 101). If not admitted to the program, students may reapply for review. After admittance, students plan their studio elective classes with the department chair and a faculty member from their emphasis area.
