Coop Physical Education It is recommended that a student pursuing a major in physical education complete Physiology 1, Bacteriology 1, Psychology 1 Home Economics 6, Physics 10, Physical Education 9 or 19; Physical Education 42, and seven hours of physical education including swimming. Requirements for all Weber College students are: (1) a medical examination by the College Physician at the initial entrance of each student, and (2) five hours of physical education during the freshman year. (Exceptions will be made only by special permission.) Registration should include: Physical Education 40, two quarter hours, and Physical Education 1, three quarter hours. Substitutions for these requirements may be made from results of the testing program given by the Department. During the war emergency all registered students are expected to take a physical activity. PHYSICAL EDUCATION ACTIVITY CLASSES FOR MEN 1. Elementary Activities. A course comprising a survey of the fields of physical education and hygiene and their application to personal and community hygiene. Required of all freshmen. Two quarter hours. Autumn, Winter, Spring. Staff 41. Orientation of Health and Physical Education. Same as Physical Education 40 except that it is adapted for engineers and trade students. (See Hygiene 1.)
