Show The Pioneer Post Volume II Issue 8 Marriott-Slaterville City Newsletter August 2000 1195 West 400 North, MSC, UT 84404 (627-1919, Fax 627-1880) GOOD NEIGHBOR AWARD Too often the community is critical of what people may be doing wrong, whether it be a zoning problem, a building violation or something else. In doing this, we overlook the many residents who are doing their part to make Marriott-Slaterville a beautiful community. In September you will have a chance to submit nominations to the Mayor of someone you consider as a "Good Neighbor". You may choose any resident or business in the community who you feel is doing an outstanding job in beautifying the community. Up to four awards (at least one resident and at least one business) will be presented from the nominations to receive the "Marriott-Slaterville City Good Neighbor Award". Of course not all good neighbors will be recognized this year, for there are many many residents who do an outstanding job in making this community a better place to live. However, if there is someone whom you feel ought to be recognized, this is your chance to nominate them. To nominate a good neighbor, fill out the nomination form at the end of this newsletter and drop it by the city office or call the city office and tell them your nomination. Nominations must be received by Friday, September 29, 2000. Let's all work to be good neighbors. Dennis Illum City Council Last Chance to Play!
