During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Tuesday 28 Get up at 6.30 prepare breakfast make two fires. After breakfast do up Kitchen work practice 1 hr. Give Phebe lesson Get dinner help with work practice about 1 hr. Recd letter from Orlando. Do up supper work and retire early. Wednesday 29 Mar/ 93 Get up at 6 oclock. Make fires & get breakfast. Practice 1 hr. Do washing alone, scrub Kitchen and milk house floors. Go with Sister Hunter for a drive. She is such a careless driver. I that she made me nervous. However quite enjoy it. Get home at 6 o clock practice 1 hr. recd letter from sister Phelps. Dampen cloths mix bread, retire at 10-30. Write to W L. R. Thursday 30 Get up at 6 A.M. get breakfast after which practice. Do bedroom work. Go take lessons. Walk back. Get dinner do up work practice 30 min. Supper retire early. Friday 31 Arise at 6 A.M. Prepare breakfast help with work and at 9 oclock Mr & Mrs C Phebe and I take car and start for Pleasant Green. Had to wait 1 hr for moter and were tired out when we reached Mrs Wolslen holmes. Had dinner and then assisted Mr Wm preparing supper and refreshments for her husbands birthday party. There were over fifty persons present in evening. Phebe Claws & I waited on table the first sat dawn at 6 o clock and supper continued until after ten. Do not have a good time go to bed about three A.M. Saturday April 1 Get up at 8 A.M. breakfast & start for home. Miss the car at Brighton so have to wait there at store for 2 hr. Get home in the afternoon tired out. Sweep & dust - 4 up stairs rooms. Retire at ten, recd 2 letters Jim & E. Sunday April 2 93 Get up at 6.30 Get breakfast |
