Show Receive letters from ma & E. I. which were written the first of Jan. Also receive one from Aunt Let. inviting me to spend sunday with her In the afternoon I practice 4 hr the remainder of time spend in work. Practice awhile in eve. Then write. Phebe & Mrs C go up town. Sunday 5 Feb 93 In the forenoon I do all the bedroom work and straiten parlor & dining room. Practice 1.30 Then get ready & walk to curch which is in Tabernacle. It is very stormy. After curch go down to Aunt Lets. On my way meet Vie Wells, also Jim Astle. Cant find Aunts place so Jim goes with me. Have Curch with Aunt & Uncle. In the evening it is still Storming so I remain all night with Aunt. Uncle goes to eve meeting & Aunt and I have a chat on marriage etc. Read a letter from Mose. Retire at 11 P.M. Monday Feb 6 93 Arise at 7 A.M. Have breakfast with Aunt Let. Take the car & arrive at Mrs Hs at 8 A.M. Sweep & dust dining room while they eat breakfast then do the six beds. practice 1 hr Go & take my music lesson have it good. Get back at two P.M. Have dinner. do up dinner work. Receive letter from Ama Rich. Practice 1 hr. Help Phebe do up supper work. Finish reading Vashti by Augusta Evens. Like it ever so much. Tuesday Arise at 7 A.M. Mrs Clawsen being sick I get breakfast after which I practice 2 hr. Then do all the bedroom work. Geg John & Midders dinner also Bro Hs. Give Phebe her lesson. Do up supper work Practice 1 hr. Ans T. Js letter. Read Scotts autobiography. |
