During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Jim and Bird go to camp a horse back to prepare dinner previous to our getting there. Enjoy dinner after which do all except Edward and I go to visit other springs. We remain to take care of camp which we enjoy of course. Edward & I get Supper. I am kept awake most of the night by squirrels etc. Saturday 15 July Hooper Springs. Landon and family go home this morning. Bird and Jim go off a horse back. Edward and I go up the creek for a walk. Nothing special but a pleasant day. E & I go to town & get provisions wood etc. Sunday 16 July Hooper Springs Spend the day at camp. Bird & Jim go fishing. Smith Wooley eats dinner with us. Mr. Mazer & Miss Doling spend evening around our Camp fire. Monday 17 July Hooper Springs Start for Montpelier this morning. Take dinner a few mi. N. of Georglawn. Get home about 7 P.M. tired out. I dont feel very well go to bed early. Tuesday 18 July Montpelier. Jim & Bird & I go to Warm Springs. Edward goes to Paris. In the morning I clean bed room. A warm drive to springs. Bird and I attempt a hot Bath but cannot stand it. Stay all night with Birdie. Wednesday 19 July Warm Springs. Bird &I go down and take a warm bath after which Jim takes us for a boat ride. Have dinner with Birdie after which start for home. A warm ride. Sew some. Nothing special. Thursday 20 July Montpelier. Dont feel very so after doing up the work The down Town Bridges & Chris Anderson call telling me of Choir practice in Paris. At 7 P.M. I start in company with choir for Practice in Paris tabernacle. Have a miserable drive it is so dusty. |
