During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Wednesday Aug 16 / 93 Montpelier, Take breakfast with Claire and remain there until noon. Call at P.O. Nina send invitation for me to take dinner with her which I do. Meet there Alf Budge Addie and others. In afternoon give Orren a lesson & arrange to give Miss Welker lessons. Go down to Claries in evening. Edward comes down later in evening & we spend a pleasant time with Sister Phelps & Claire. Edward returned from a trip to Stare Valley to day. Stayed all night here Thursday Aug 17/ 93 Montpelier Ma is sewing for Rose H. today. Make up my mind very suddenly to go for an out to the Warm Springs. Bp. Clark his father Edward and I go. Have a very pleasant time. Take bath. Go for a boat ride in the Sail boat but there being no wind we do not sail very fast. Meet Mrs Nancy Pugmire and Mrs Harknes. Get home late. Edward spends the evening with me. Friday Aug 18 /93 Montpelier. This forenoon I gave three lessons. Help some with work and in afternoon give two lessons. This evening Ma and I go to a concert not very good. Saturday 19 Aug. /93 Montpelier This morning I sweept and dusted bouth rooms thoroughly. Iron most of the day and give two lessons in afternoon. Mrs. Clark called this afternoon. Edward comes over and I go over to Paris tonight with him. Stay overnight at Aunt Mark Rs. Sunday 20 Aug /93 Paris Get up late. Edward and I got to Sunday School are late but have a good school. Eat dinner at Mary As in company with Mrs Pugmire Harkner and Edward & Aunt Mary R. After dinner enjoy some singing by Miss Harkner. E & I go to meeting. Walk home. |
