The Citizens Committee on Weber College Expansion is made up of approximately 100 public spirited citizens of Box Elder, Davis, Morgan and Weber Counties, and has as its objective the expansion of Weber College into a limited four-year institution. This committee has been in existence for about two years and through its efforts has procured a new campus for Weber which is but a start on the expansion program. Weber “Wildcat” Coaching Staff -- 1948 For Weber to become a four-year institution legislative approval is necessary and as the 1949 legislature will soon be in session plans are now being laid to promote the necessary action. As you look about you tonight you can se the erying need of a proper stadium in which to hold school functions where adequate modern facilities will be provided and where the atmosphere does not reek of the barnyard and other assorted odors.
