Clark One-Year Program The following curriculum is designed for the student who desires to take work in Cosmetology only, and who plans to qualify for the State Board Examination at the completion of one year of training. At the completion of this curriculum, a Certificate of Proficiency may be awarded. The student may qualify for the State Board Examination in Cosmetology. A Certificate of Completion will be awarded after completing the curriculum. Methods of permanent waving including heat and cold waving. Five quarter hours. Autumn, Winter, Spring. Clark 53. Scalp Treatments. Special treatments of the hair shaft and scalp.
