This information has left behind rich histories, stories and important information regarding the history of the Marriott-Slaterville area. |

Show 2nd ANNUAL MARRIOTT-SLATERVILLE FOUNDERS' DAY GOLF TOURNAMENT Everyone is invited to sign up for the Marriott-Slaterville Golf Tournament. Contact Danny Brown 731-4746 or Chad Meyerhoffer at Mulligans (392-4653) to sign up. * Date & Time: July 1st from 4-6 PM. * Place: Mulligans Golf Course * Entry Fee: $10 Organize your own team or just sign up and have tun. Prizes will be awarded to the best teams. See you on the green! FOURTH OF JULY BREAKFASTS Breakfast will be served by the LDS Wards at 8:00 AM on July 4th. The Slaterville Ward breakfast will be served at the Slaterville Park, and the Marriott Ward breakfast will be served at the Marriott Park. IT'S A CELEBRATION!!! Marriott-Slaterville 1st Annual Founders' Day and Fourth of July Celebration * Breakfast by LDS Wards at the Slaterville Park and Marriott Parks 8:00 AM. 10:00 AM Parade line up on 700 South at dead end east of I-15. Parade starts at 10:30 AM and will end at Marriott Park. * 11:00 AM Games and Activities immediately after parade. * Homemade Ice Cream Contest. * Candy Cannons. * Music and Karaoke. * 12:00 noon Hamburgers and Hot Dogs served. Get ready, decorate that old car or bike, and line up for the parade July 4th. Then join us at Marriott Park for activities, food and more. Parking available at the IRS building by Marriott Park. Weber County Fair August 9-12: The 2000 Weber County Fair is in need of volunteers and has asked for assistance. The fair will be held August 9-12 and volunteers will be scheduled in 4 hours shifts to staff various areas and departments throughout the entire fair. Call Terri Ashment at 399-8491 to volunteer. Also, call Shauna Meyerhoffer to volunteer to help with the community booth at the County Fair (394-7126). Legacy Highway Public Meeting and Information: to be held on Wednesday, June 28th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Exhibition Hall on the Weber County Fairgrounds. THIS IS IMPORTANT AND PEOPLE NEED TO BE THERE FROM OUR COMMUNITY TO VOICE THEIR OPINIONS ON THIS SUBJECT.
