Also, our Pastor the principle that trials can strengthen one’s faith. Application: to encourage the believer to trust and obey God in his present circumstances. Practical Points 1. Christians can and should adopt and maintain an attitude of joy in every situation (James 1:2). 2. It is comforting to know that even trials have a good purpose in our lives (James 1:3-4). 3. Enduring the trails of this life will bring eternal rewards (James 1:12). 4. Surrendering to temptation can be blamed on no one but ourselves (vss. 13-15). 5.
