Willie Davis, Pastor Deacon Anderson, Chairman Deacon Board 2935 Lincoln Ave. Ogden, Utah 84401 Dear Fellow Christians: In 1972 my sister, Gloria Green was involved in an car accident in-Ogden. It is by the Grace of God, today. almost she is fatal alive When my sister Edna and my nephew Doran arrived in Salt Lake City, Deacon Anderson and people from your church were there to meet them and help them with lodging. This was in response to a telephone call made, by my pastor, Dr. Hylton L. James, to your church the Sunday prior to their departure from Brooklyn. I shall never forget the out pouring of your hearts to them during “their stay in 0gden:—My—mother_was_unable to travel—at—the time. The way you helped our family lifted a burden from her heart. She often spoke of you and how much she appreciated your kindness. You reacted in the full spirit of Christianity, giving aid to the needy. I guess those of you who remember the incident, have wondered-what happened to Gloria. When she returned home in July, 1972 she was —hospitalized for about-six weeks. I hope that this will help someone in need as we were helped by your church. I look forward to the day when I can come to New Zion and thank you personally.
