When a student member of the council fails to attend three consecutive council meetings, the secretary of the Associated Students shall delinquent declare the office vacated, and shall notify the class from which the to hold a special election immediately to select a succes- member was selected sor. The secretary shall also notify the advisory teacher of the absence of his room representative following each meeting of council. e. Any member of the Associated Students may attend council meetings, but only council members may vote on a proposed question. f. The faculty advisor shall be the parliamentarian. g. The faculty advisor for the Student Executive Board shall be the advisor to the Student Council. Section 2. a. Duties of the Council: The Council shall be the legislative body of the Associated Studen ts. b. The Council shall direct student activities and approve student organization policies, c. The Council shall pass on all Associated Students expenditures. d. The Council members shall be given time to make reports on the action of Council in the next regular meeting of the advisory class following the Council meeting. Section 3. Meetings: a. The Council shall meet in alternate weeks of the Executive Board. special meeting shall be held officially unless all members are duly notified. No b. A quorum for all meetings shall consist of two-thirds of membership of Council and one faculty member. ¢. The Council shall be conducted according to Roberts Rules of Order, as long as they do not conflict with this Constitution.
