Modalities and Rehabilitation (2) S Provides an overview of the theory and application of medical equipment prescribed in the management of athletic injuries. Athletic Training Management (2) F Provides an overview of the necessary policies, procedures, maintenance, and daily operation of an athletic training room. This course is designed for those students who are in the athletic training program and are seeking National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) certification. AT 4590. Evaluation and Care of Athletic Injuries (2) S Designed for Athletic Training students seeking National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) certification. Content of this course addresses evaluation techniques and care for athletic injuries to the head and neck, trunk, upper, and lower extremities. The student must integrate anatomical structures, physiological principles and evaluative techniques to provide a basis for critical decision-making in an injury management environment.
