Show Composite Programs Composite Programs General Information PROGRAM: COMMUNICATION AND ENGLISH COMPOSITE TEACHING MAJOR (COMMUNICATION EMPHASIS) BACHELOR DEGREE General Requirements: • WSU Core Requirements (see index). • General Education Requirements (see index). • Psych SS101 (5) or Soclgy 101 (5) or Anthro 101 (5) in the Social Science area is recommended for Communication and English Composite Teaching majors. • A minor is not required. • Achieve a C or better in major courses. • Achieve an overall 2.75 GPA. • 183 total hours are required for this degree. Sixty of the 183 total hours must be upper division (courses numbered 300 and above). Students obtaining a Communication and English Composite must satisfy the College of Education Certification Program (see Secondary Education Program).
