Solfeggio. Designed for the purpose of supplying the student with the rudiments of sight singing, notation, rhythm, intervals, and chords. An introduction to history and appreciation of music. Open to all. Two quarter hours. Music 2. Solfeggio and Public School Music Material. Advanced training in sight singing and notation, and Public School methods. Prerequisite Music 1. Two quarter hours. Music 5. History of Music. A course designed to acquaint one with the rise of music, its relation to the advance of civilization and its reaction upon the individual. Open to all. Two quarter hours. Music 10. Elementary Harmony. Chord construction and modulation. Open to students of ability and training. Prerequisite: Solfeggio or its equivalent and the ability to read music in soprano and bass clefs. Three quarter hours. No credit for less than three quarters. Music 11. Elementary Harmony.
