The public is invited to attend. qj ..Li PUPILS WILL OFFER OPERA TWO EVENINGS Costumes To Create Early Eighteenth Century Atmosphere The Marriage of Nannette," a comic opera in three acts, will be presented tonight and Friday night by the students of the Ogden High school at the Washington Junior High school auditorium. The pro-duction is being supervised by Mark Robinson and directed by Glenn L. Hanson. Special scenery for the musical' play has been designed by Le Conte Stewart. Besides the 20 principal roles, the cast includes a chorus of almost 100 voices. Colorful costumes to create an early eighteenth cen¬tury atmosphere will be worn. "The Marriage of Nannette" tells the story of a little French peasant who is caught in the grip of circum-stances. She finds herself the bride- to-be of a haughty nobleman when she has actually given her heart to a peasant lad. A scheming mother and a highwayman, a brother, at¬tempt to work out the matrimonial destinies of Nannette. The cast of principals are: Yvonne Pierce, Lorna Malan, Rachel Medoway, Doris Wangsgard, Elda Skinner, Dorothy Knowlton, Virginia Hyde, Selma Rosenthal, Athleen Budge, Elmer Broome, Bob Parks, Glen, Judd, Dee Bramwell, Walton Foulger, Frand Grastiet, Enoch Thorne, Gerald Buelher, Gilbert Tolhurst, Burke Fry, Joseph Foley, Max Clark, Walker Low and Claude Stevens. The public is invited to attend the performances on either Thursday or Friday evenings. The curtain will rise at 8:15 o'clock.
