During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Tuesday, January 4. A most beautiful day. I did some reading after doing up my work. Dr & I had a nice lunch and then he took me over to the Eighteenth Ward Relief Society. The parables of Jesus were given by Lucile Walwork. I then went over to Weber College to a talk by Ray Thather on the Direct Primary of electing state officers etc. which will be but in pactice next Nov. have had a buisy and profitable day. Recd a letter from Janath and one from June Pomeroy Remmington. Wednesday, January 5. I have never seen such a beautiful day in Jan. No snow sunshine and a lightweight coat is comfortable. I went down town and bought me two lovly dresses one a brown with white dott tailered for three dollars and ninty five cents, the other a figured crepe with background of dark brown. Very nice for dress or informal. The Emporium has enlarged its stock by taking over the stock of Thorstensons Store on 23rd St. and it will continue under this Company. I had a nice letter from Oertel. Dr & I went up to Myrenes a few minutes to see her new furniture. |
