Show Monday, August 7. Lakota back page continued from Sun. Clix Wright is chairman this year of the Reunion. A meeting was held & a fine programme given by In laws at 10 A.M. in Pavilion. At noon 300 were seated at attractive Lunch in the Grove. All seemed happy. Junior flew his plane and had lunch with us. we had plenty to serve and all was used. A very happy enjoyable time & nothing to bring back but sailed linen. We had a women to supervise & prepare & set tables & wait table with a Committee of ten Inlaws. Royal, Lottie Dr & I drove to Paris & visited the Cemetary. Tuesday, August 9. Monday 8. Dr William L. Richs daughter Loretta was married in the Salt Lake Temple to Erling S. Wedding. In Paris Ida. the William Rich family sponsored a party in honor of Dr. Edwards 70th Birthday. It was held in Paris 2nd Ward Hall. A fine programme was rendered and a banquet served to Seventy five realatives. A beautiful Birthday cake and gifts were presented to him. Telegrams recd from those of our family who were absent also letters. Many complimentary words were said of his splendid life. Returned home. movies were taken. |
