The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Friday, June 17. I went into the City with Dr & Taylor. I did some shopping then met Dr & had lunch. We rode over the Golden Gate Bridge later I met Mary & we went upto Mauriece Hotel to Mrs Jane Perrys Apt. we had intended to spend the afternoon seeing the Medical exhibits but were disappointed as they were closed at noon so then Mary and I saw some of the shops and at six P.M. we met at Janes Apt and from there went as her guests to the Reveria for dinner. Very nice. We went to see a Chinese Parade but there was such crowds we decided to go home. So Taylor, Mary, Pop & I drove to San Mateo. Saturday, June 18. The nights have been so cool we have enjoyed Marys good beds and have rested well. Have visited with Mary most of forenoon. Convention closed last night. Taylor came home for lunch. I packed and we were off for home at two 30 P.M. We drove to Monteray by six P.M. called to see Dr Fred & Mrs Stauffer for a couple of hours then took a room at San Carlos Hotel. |
