During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show 6 — THE HERALD JOURNAL TUESDAY, Logan STATE FEBRUARY (Cache County) WINNER 18, 1964 Utah of Jaycee ‘‘speak-up contest”. was liam Rich of Logan. Wil- og A Logan man was chosen the winner of the Utah Jaycees State Speak-Up contest. William Rich, assistant manager of Utah Mortage Loan insurance department was presented with the honor at the Prudential). Auditorium in Salt Lake City. Mr. Rich competed with 26 other contestants for the award. State Jaycee President, LaMar Rawlings, presented Mr. Rich with the award, and $100.00 to pay his expenses to the national Jaycee Convention in Dallas, ‘Texas in July, where he will be competing against other state winners. Mr. Rich is presently serving .as Treasurer of the Logan Jaycees and is also very active in other community work as well as the L.D.S. church.
