Aerobics Program • 15-20 Drop-In Aerobics classes weekly • Classes utilize Reebok Step, Cardio Slides, X-ertubes, hand weights, Resist-A-Balls, interval training etc. Aquatics Program • 35-40 hours of weekly programming • Programming includes Lap Swim, Water Aerobics, Recreational Swim, Maternity Waterworks, Children Group Swim Lessons and Private Adult Swim Lessons Experiential Learning • Half day or full day workshops • Provides campus groups (student, faculty and staff) the opportu nity to learn by doing in a unique and creative way. • Team building, trust, communication and leadership are some areas of focus that are provided. Fitness & Strength Training Areas • Open 90+ hours weekly • Large free weight and selectorized weight machine stations • Fitness area includes stair steppers, upright and recumbent bicycles, elliptical trainers, and more Intramurals • 12-15 team/individual events each semester • Includes basketball, soccer, softball, flag football, racquetball, tennis, golf, triathlons, 5k races, etc. Call 801-626-7967 if you have any questions concerning WSU Intramural Sports. Sport Clubs • 18 active clubs • Involves students, faculty & staff who compete with colleges and university teams on a local, state, regional or national level in a variety of sports. • Active Clubs include men's baseball, billiards, bowling, ice hockey, lacrosse, martial arts, racquetball, rodeo, rugby, ski, men's soccer, swim/water polo, volleyball, and women's fast- pitch softball. Wilderness Recreation Center • Offers a variety of equipment rentals, outdoor skills workshops, seminars, and recreational trips. • Rentals are affordable and convenient: snowboards, cross country skis, camping and backpacking gear, white water rafts or kayaks, canoes, mountain bikes and more. • Offers 2-hour seminars each semester, including outdoor cooking, mountain bike repair, ski and snowboard tuning, backpacking, and many other classes. • More in-depth instruction includes a 1-3 day class on kayaking, climbing, snow shoeing, mountain biking, or cross country skiing. • See the current calendar of activities on the Web at http://calendar.weber.edu/ for the seminars, workshops, and trips available each semester.
