Show Saturday, January 22. This A.M. at ten oclock the Committe on nomination for D.U.P. met here. I had a buisy afternoon & evening. Finished reading Orchads on Your Budget. Elizabeth Thomas had lunch with us. I did iorning in the afternoon. Sunday, January 23. Dr went to Sunday School. I did not go as Ruby & Earl my brother, brought their baby girl Joyce to have her tonsils taken out. Ralph and his wife came also. I prepared dinner, after which Ruby and I visited while the rest of them went to the office where Dr Junior and Dr did the operation. Earl, Ruby and I called on Myrene and Blanch. It is a little colder this afternoon. Joe and Myrene left by train for a trip East to Detroit. I spent the evening reading. |
