Show Tuesday, March 29. Dr and I attended the funeral of Mrs Johnson yesterday. This A.M. I resumed my typeing course at Weber College. Listened to a lecture on Europe by a B.Y.U. Prof. Attended 18 Ward Relief Society. I went after to Weber College to hear a U of U Prof. talk on taxation. Wednesday, March 30. Spent an hr at school feel quite encouraged over my course. Have written to Avon and Oertel. Had a nice letter from Oertel in which she sent a paper clipping saying Janath had won honors at Wellesley College. She is a wonderful girl, and so is Maren who played over radio broadcast from U of U this past week. This evening Annie Rich and I went over to Weber College to a meeting to consider organizing a here. Judge of S.L.C. gave a splendid talk on taking care of youth before they become delinquent. Ezra and Edward went to a Medical meeting up at the Hospital. |
