Show Monday, May 16. School for 2 hr feel quite encouraged with my typing. Am enjoying it alot. Had a card from Avon from Yosemite where she is a delegate to P.T.A. Convention. Also a letter from Olly Cozzens. After Lunch I attended D.U.P. Board meeting. Gave a talk on Mexico for one hr. All seemed to enjoy it. There were about 75 present. I came home quite tired but studied until after twelve P.M. Tuesday, May 17. I went over to school stayed one hr and came home feeling rather sick. I stayed in bed most all day as Dr wanted me too. Slept most of the day. had a letter from Mae Cozzens. Winn Ferrins Airship was stolen by two outlaws. They got out after trying Juniors hanger & broke into his (Ferrins) filled it with gas & the night watchman heard them but as it was stormy paid no attention. The police were also told that it was planned and they took no heed. |
