Show Tuesday, June 21. After a good nights rest we had breakfast and were on our way by six thirty. Took the Southern route via of Eley Nev. Splendid roads country we had not seen before and very little trafic so Dr made good time. We ate lunch in our car in a lovly forest. Rained for a short time. We enjoyed the day as it was cool. This was the longest drive Dr ever made 615 mi. We arrived in Ogden at 930 P.M. Found all fine. Myrene came in to give us the news. Dr is quite tired so retires soon. Home Sweet Home. Wednesday, June 22. I did not get up until ten this A.M. Dr got up early to help Junior operate. Have spent the day straightening up the house etc. Went up to see Blanch and the new baby this evening. The family have all been in today. Dr is a bit tired. Had a letter from Oertel also Mary. Retire early. |
