Show Tuesday, August 2. Found our beds very comfortable, had a fine rest. Ate breakfast early and at 7 A.M. were out to fish on Jackson lake with a good guide and a very secure boat we trolled until noon. I caught the first trout 1 and later a nice one all of us caught six nice ones. So we had a nice trout dinner. The lake was very tough and we were glad to get off of it. The waves splashed on us and we had quite a sprinkeling but a lot of fun too. Tho a windy day we enjoyed the experience. We drove to Jack Turners Dude Ranch where we had a fine Stake dinner and spent the evening seeing movies of Wild game. Wednesday, August 3. Another good cool sleep. Breakfasted early and out for fishing at 7 A.M. Crossed on the West side of the Lake and caught our limit, 24 nice trout all weighting a pound or more by noon. We had a lot of sport. I had as good luck as the rest had. After eating a good lunch of trout fried in butter we packed our fish in ice & started home Via of the Hoe Backa route we had not been before. Arrived home about 9 P.M. Rather a cool ride through I Wyo. & Weber canon Utah I fixed a nice lunch after which Royal & Lottie went up to Juniors. |
