Five quarter hours. Soring. Staff LINK TRAINING PROGRAM The Link Training Program is designed especially for on-the-job trainees desiring a knowledge of instruments and instrument-rating. The skill and information is taught on an individual basis and by appointment. The amount of Link Trainer time allowable will be in keeping with current regulations set up by the Civil Aeronautics Authority and also the Veterans Administration. Two quarter hours. Fender Repair. Training in the fundamental principles and practices of roughing out metal, metal bumping, buffing, sanding, leading, shrinking, welding, and the metal finishing of fenders. Instruction and training in the care and use of spray equipment, preparing the surfaces for refinishing; fundamental procedures in priming, surfacing, color matching, and blending touch up, striping, and the application of lacquer and synthetic enamels. Training in the placement and repair of body parts, such as cowl, panel, trunk, lid rocker sills, side, floor, top and door panels; also checking and alignment of the automobile body.
