Included are laboratory experiences and study of technical subjects to achieve competency in machine tool work, manufacturing processes; fabrication, production and tooling. The intent of this course is to prepare students for employment of a technical nature in industry. Upon completing the machine tool technician program a student will graduate with a certificate of completion. For those who wish a four-year program, many of the courses may be used toward the achievement of a B.S. degree in Tool and Manufacturing Engineering Technology.
