She was born Aug. 3, 1915, in Americus, Ga.,a daugh- ter of James Clifton and Rosalie Frazier Smith. She married Leander (Pete) Henry on Sept. 22, for nine years. | oe She began work for the federal government in 1942 in Dayton, Ohio. She served for two years in the Women’s Army Corps. ae After the war she returned to work for the government in Dayton. In 1958 she transferred to San Bernardino Calif. and in 1965 she transferred to Hill Air Force Base.) She retired ag-chief of service unit, Titan Automatic Resupply Logistics section. She was a member of the American Legion Post No. 66, the Toastmistress Club and the Emery Chapel E.M.E.
