Highway 89, Ogden, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 1984, at St. Benedict's Hospital. | He was born April 23, 1913, in> Brookhaven, Miss., a son of Walter len, 68, 2936 Stephens, died Monday, Jan. 2, 1984, at the McKay-Dee Hospital ofa heart ailment. She was Feb. born , 1915, 28, in : , Boston, New Texas, a daughter of and Ollie Black Ford. | He married Alice aise in rook1937 in -Henery and Ella Ellis Hubbard. She married James Allen. They were later * divorced. She hadx haven, Miss. They were later divorced. He married Cather- : ine Sloan in® 1964 in La Vegas, Nev. oe been employed & as a clerk for the Union Pacific Railroad H e ~ She had lived in Texarkana, Texas, before moving to Ogden 42 years — SSurvivitg are one daughter, Mrs. Ir- ene Turner, Ogden; 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Ogden; Henery Hub- bard, Oklahoma City, Okla.; one half | brother, Dot Haywood, Five Points, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Jessie Ann Anderson, Roy. She was preceded in death by a son, Johnnie Lee Dizer. Funeral services will be conducted © Saturday at 1 p.m. in the New Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Willie Martin— officiating.
